Subaru Is A Sales Standout With Enviable Customer Loyalty!
In recent US auto sales tallies the stalwart Subaru brand has been notably strong posting a 22 percent increase last month over the same period in 2013.
Tough and durable as its vehicles, Subaru has always been a strong niche player. But increasingly the rest of the auto industry has moved into the economy, value and reliability market space that Subaru had so effectively staked out for itself.
The popular Forester cross over and Outback wagons are the main drivers for success at Subaru, which has adjusted to increased competition by stepping up the quality of interior appointments, comfort features and the full panoply of tech gear.
The new and freshly revised Forester is now selling 54 percent ahead of April 2013, and the Outback wagon, with a new edition due out this summer, sold nearly 40,000 units last month.
The all-new XV Crosstrek, a chunky little hatchback with obvious youth market appeal, is the third leading seller for Subaru. Also key to retaining and continually building a strong base of younger buyers is the rally car favorite WRX/STI and the hot little BRZ two-seater sportscar produced in partnership with Toyota.
