Infiniti

The heated competition of the Japanese premium luxury class between Toyota’s Lexus, Honda’s Acura and, Nissan’s Infiniti brands has always made for great sport and some very good cars!

And though for win, place and show — Lexus, Acura, Infiniti is a safe bet — the third largest selling entry makes no apologies. Infiniti puts out a solid line of well designed and gloriously appointed and accessorized cars, crossovers and SUVs.

A recent test drive of the highly evolved new Infiniti FX37 luxury performance crossover — was impressive enough to lessen the shock of its $45 to $61,000 price range.

The infiniti FX first appeared in 2003 with its bulbous swooping low profile which some critics likened to an update on the AMC Pacer. Over the years the rest of the marketplace has caught up with the FX design ethic and it has become more graceful with a nip and tuck or two.

The FX37 standard issue is a powerful and efficient 3.7-liter V-6 325 horsepower engine which makes the most of a very agile all wheel drive system. Inside leather upholstery, premium finishes and cutting edge tech features throughout give this ride a high value rating!
